Searches on the net show nothing, I need to fulfill my curiosity.
Closest I found was a riced out Prius with HIDs, with the owner considering doing it. I wonder how those things sound like. I guess I could buy a scrap one and abuse it to hell.

They'd sound like a normal straight piped car if the engine is on.
It's not like it's going to enhance the electric motor sound or anything

I didn't understand what you were looking for or expecting.
Electric motors make noise, they aren't entirely silent. I didn't know if you were expecting a hybrid drive system to sound different from a normal engine, or just didn't know if anyone had straight piped a hybrid

yes, EV's do make a slight noise, I know someone who DD's a LEAF, and I hear a quiet, but high pitched whine coming from the motor, which intensifies the faster it goes.
